Training details:
As a production mechanic, you are always called into action when a production machine needs to be professionally set up.
You know the process sequences, understand mechatronic systems and know which yarns and fabrics are used.
You master the operation of the machines and are responsible for quality control.

Duration of training: 3 years

Start: 01.08.2024

Learning locations: Training company and vocational school (Textilakademie NRW in Mönchengladbach)

Training content:

Textile manufacturing technologies
Allocating and handling materials, supplies and auxiliary materials
Select test methods and equipment, carry out tests and document test results
Setting up, operating and maintaining production machines and systems
Determine characteristics
Analyze and develop sample templates
Apply construction techniques

Requirements:
Interest in technical developments, mechanical and technical understanding, quick comprehension, good school-leaving certificate

Opportunities:
If you are suitable, you can be promoted to team leader, group leader or assistant to the production manager. Once you have completed your training and have the relevant professional experience, you can take a course to become a master craftsman in the textile industry or a state-certified textile technician.
